A current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection, also known as a health certificate, must be issued by a USDA-accredited veterinarian within 10 days of transport. The veterinarian will examine your pet and verify that they appear healthy and free of infectious diseases. Additional documentation may be required based on the animal’s species and destination.
You may include approved comfort and care items, such as a blanket, food, treats, and a small toy. All items, including no more than one 5-pound bag of food, must fit inside one tote or box labeled with your pet’s name. The driver is not responsible for unlabeled items.
Pets are checked every three to four hours for proper airflow, safe temperatures, comfort, and signs of distress. Water, meals, and appropriate breaks are provided according to each pet’s needs, owner instructions, travel schedule, and applicable USDA requirements.

For safety and compliance with applicable USDA requirements, pets travel securely in properly sized crates. All customer-provided items must fit inside one tote or box labeled with your pet’s name.
Each crate or carrier is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with pet-safe products before and after every transport.
